I'm so excited about the cruise. We have 34 people booked - and a few more looking for roommates.
*** NCL has recently changed the port arrival time in Papeete, Tahiti from 7 AM to 3 AM. This means you can book a flight 4 hours after port arrival. This is huge, because you can now book a flight at 7 AM or after and not have to wait till the evening to fly out.***

2. SHIRTS ON BOARDING DAY - Normally, we do some sort of matching flannel shirts for boarding day so that everyone will recognize the others in our group. Flannel doesn't quite work for Hawaii so I'm designing a T-shirt for the first day. I've ordered a few samples and will post more about those when I receive them. The cost will be around $25 including postage and I will send them to you, along with your nametags before we leave. You don't have to participate, of course, but it does make it fun! The cruise ships have no problem with T-shirts on the first day in the dining room. I've attached a few photos to give you an idea.
3. EXCURSIONS - It's not too early to start booking excursions. You can do it through the NCL website or Viator is a reputable company and their excursions tend to be less expensive. I will post the list of Viator excursions at the bottom of this email and you can click on the links and book on your own. Most of them can be cancelled. I would love to do a boat tour, food tour or a luau if anyone else would like to do that. I don't want to snorkel or dive. Just a note, if you book through NCL they will guarantee that they will hold the ship if your tour is running late. My husband, Steve would be open to golfing if there are any other guys who would like to golf.
4. DINING - I have a request into NCL for reservations for our group in the main dining room. It usually takes awhile to hear back from them. If you could come to dinner the first night and dine with the group so we can get acquainted, that would be great. After the first night, not everyone will show up to dinner because they are on excursions, or doing specialty dining, etc... You should all have 3 (or 5 if you have a balcony or suite) free specialty dining credits (if you didn’t get the free beverage package, you won’t have the free specialty dining credits) Make your reservations NOW on the NCL website. As the cruise gets closer, all of the earlier dining times will be taken and they will only have 9:30 left. If you don't get the times you want, you can go stand in line as soon as you get on the ship and (hopefully) get reservations. The main dining rooms and the Garden Café (buffet) are complimentary.

CAGNEYS - Steakhouse ($60 cover charge)
SILK - Asian Fusion ($50 cover charge)
SUSHI - Reservations not offered ($50 cover charge)
ONDA BY SCARPETTA - Italian ($40 cover charge)
LE BISTRO - French ($60 cover charge)
TEPPANYAKI - ($60 cover charge)
THE LOCAL - Bar and Grill (no charge) Fish and chips, Buffalo wings, Burgers, Sandwiches, etc...
